FRACTALS

Light in Motion
Entranced by the captivating interplay of light within the resonance of water, Fractals captures sunlight as it moves in luminous dialogue with shifting motion. Fluid and atmospheric, the images reveal transient geometries — a living dance of reflection, refraction, and flow. In each frame, light takes on form and spectrum, reshaping the surface into a landscape of color and movement. The work invites us to see water not only as substance, but as a medium where light becomes visible, alive, and endlessly variable.

ARTIST STATEMENT

In Fractals, I focus on the visual and sensory qualities that arise when light interacts with moving water. I am drawn to the moment where motion becomes form — fleeting structures shaped by color, reflection, and shifting intensity. These images explore light as it bends, scatters, and gathers within the movement unfolding beneath the surface.

Working with the camera becomes a way of tracing these ephemeral geometries: how water redirects sunlight into patterns that never repeat, and how a subtle shift in motion can transform an entire field of color and luminosity. What emerges is a continuous play between energy and element — a space that feels active and alive, where form arises in an instant and dissolves into movement again.
