CHURCHTREE
Moonlit trees, mirrored into chiral patterns, form compositions that evoke stained-glass windows. CHURCHTREE transforms natural silhouettes into quiet architectural symmetry, captured on large-format negative film.
ARTIST STATEMENT
CHURCHTREE reflects on the symmetry found in nature. Using moonlight and large-format negative film, I mirrored each composition, allowing the trees to take on chiral forms that recall the patterned structure of stained-glass windows. The series sits between observation and transformation — a study of how natural forms shift when seen through reflection.
